Can family and friends visit whenever they like?
Yes – We operate an open visiting policy to ensure that residents, relatives and friends can visit at the times that are most convenient for them.
Are there any activities on offer?
Yes – We plan regular events and entertainment. Examples of activities can include: physical light exercise, reminiscence style activities, sensory musical performances or cognitive activities. Trips out are also organised for residents accordingly.
How long can people stay in a care home for?
The length of time people spend in the care home varies according to their needs and preferences. Respite or Short Stay Care might be required during a period of convalescence after being in hospital, whilst Long Term Care is available at any time.
What qualifications do Care Teams have?
All of the members of our Care Team are given the training and support needed to help them provide the highest standards of care. We have a Dementia training strategy in place to ensure that care quality remains consistently high with specialist Dementia provision.
Do I need to book a visit to look around?
You should be able to visit a at any time – we advise visiting more than once and at different times, so that you can get a clearer understanding of what it is like throughout the day. If you wish to meet the Home Manager during your visit, you might want to consider contacting us in advance to ensure they are available when you attend.
How much does it cost?
The cost of staying in the care home can vary significantly depending on a range of factors. The location of the chosen room type for accommodation, as will the type of care required. Your personal circumstances may also be a factor so, because everyone is different, the best thing to do is contacting us for a visit and discussion about the fees you may have to pay.
